I've been a survivor for many a year,
And I've fought off this cancer with blood, sweat and tears.
But now it's returning, I'm fightin' again,
Determined to beat it, in spite o' the pain!

And it's no, nay, never,

Will it beat this survivor,
No, never, no more!

I went back to the doctors, I used to frequent,
And I told my oncologist my money was spent.
I asked her for credit, and she answered me "Nay,
We don't charge for your treatment, this is not Americay!"

Will it beat this survivor,

She saw from her scanner, there were three tumours bright,
And she issued me weapons, with which I could fight,
She said she had chemo and pills o' the best,
But it was up to my spirit, to help wi' the rest!

I went home to my loved ones, and I told them my plan,
I asked them to help me any way that they can,
And when they caressed me, I silently swore,
That it never would beat this survivor no more!
