Gareth's Oesophagus

Gareth, the octopus,
Had Barrett's Oesophagus.
The diagnosis near turned him to jelly!
You wouldn't think that an octopus
Would need an oesophagus,
It's mouth being so close to it's belly!

But Barretts in the gullet,
Said Gareth's friend, the mullet,
Could be cancer by this time next year!
But Mullet's wise words
May not have been heard.
Does an octopus have any ears?

So the octopus sunk
To the octopus onc,
For a scan of oesophacal places!
But the octopus doctor
Was up to his oxters,
In octo-oesophacal cases!
